Mediterranean Flake Sea Salt is similar to the boxed Kosher flake salt. However, unlike traditional refined Kosher flake salts in which the valuable minerals have been removed, while anti-caking agents have been added, Mediterranean Flake Sea Salt is unrefined, untouched by chemicals. No additives or drying agents are used. Mediterranean Flake Sea Salt dissolves and blends well with all types of ingredients and can be used in baking, cooking, for cocktails as well as a finishing salt. The crystals are shaped like small, flakes. This natural sea salt is a great upgrade from refined Kosher flake salt.
